CompTIA is the industry recognized credentialing program that open the door to high-paying roles in today’s competitive job market.

AoH’s comprehensive CompTIA IT program is an 18 month program  that is split into 4 terms, During the first term, students will be enrolled in CompTIA IT Fundamentals, which is the entry-level certification. This class introduces learners to basic IT  knowledge and skills, and prepares learners for the ITF+ certification exam. 

Upon successful completion of ITF, learners can start the CompTIA A+ Certification class. CompTIA A+ focuses on building IT knowledge and skills related to hardware, operating systems, networking,

troubleshooting, cloud computing, security, and more.  During classes, learners will be involved in hands on internships to gain valuable experience in the IT field.  Upon successful completion and certification, AoH will help learners with careers in tech support, IT Operational roles and more.

Daytime Classes (Limited Seats)
Where: Ward 5 Daytime and Ward 8 Evening
Time: 10-2:30 (Daytime)
Evening time: 5-9 pm
Days: Monday – Thursday
Terms: 2 (Fall and Winter/Spring only)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or qualifying progress
  • CASAS Reading score 235+
  • CASAS Math score 210+
  • Northstar digital literacy score 85%+
  • Onsite advising session with Workforce staff
  • Passing score on CompTIA Pretest
  • Program completion and certifications within 12 months
