We’re Now Reaccredited by Middle States Association (MSA)

At Academy of Hope Adult Public Charter School (AoH), we often ask ourselves an important question: Who are we becoming—and how do we ensure every decision moves us closer to that vision?

Today, we are proud to share an important milestone in that journey. Academy of Hope has officially been reaccredited by the Middle States Association for the 2026–2027 term.

This reaccreditation affirms the strength of our academic and workforce programs and reflects our continued commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in adult education.

For us, reaccreditation is more than a formal process. It is an opportunity to reflect deeply on our mission, assess how we serve learners and families, and strengthen the systems that support learner success. The process challenged us to examine every aspect of our work—from instruction and workforce pathways to learner support services and long-term planning.

The result is not simply recognition. It is renewed clarity about where we are headed as an institution and how we continue creating pathways to economic mobility for adult learners across Washington, DC.

Reaccreditation also helps ensure that our learners continue to benefit from strong academic foundations, recognized standards, and opportunities that keep doors open for postsecondary education and career advancement.

Most importantly, this achievement belongs to our entire community—our learners, faculty, staff, alumni, partners, and supporters—whose dedication and belief in adult education make this work possible every day.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on the future and on continuing to build a stronger, more responsive, and more impactful Academy of Hope for the years ahead.
